The kitten that I was bottle feeding took a turn for the worse yesterday. I took him to my vet but they told me he'd likely aspirated formula in his lungs. They were very kind and put him down for me. I let the vet's bawling. It's so sad. I only had him a day but I loved him so much. :(

Darf and I would be able to magically move into an awesome place.

Well, I'm off to Darf's house. I'm going to spend the night and take him to the dentist in the morning for his oral surgery. I hope that he gets over it fast. He's really been in so much pain lately that I'll be pleased to see him getting better.

If any of you play World of Warcraft you know that Tuesday is Maintenance Day. It's not like I really play that hardcore without Darf - we're a team and I don't like to get ahead of him. However there's something annoying about not being able to play. So I've been watching Animal Planet all morning. It makes me so sad though. I really wish that I could adopt all the poor puppies!!!

I should start packing up some more stuff. Darf gave me some boxes he's been saving from work. Better to pack now than leave it wait.

I got him to move his surgery appt up to next week. He called them yesterday to tell them he was in lots of pain and wanted them to prescribe something. They prescribed ammoxicillin - an antibiotic. There's something that bothers me about that. It's the fact that if he had an infection that would actually be a detriment to his surgery. It just bothers me that they didn't prescribe it pre-surgery anyway. IDK I guess everything is fine since he's taking them now but it just bothers me a little bit.

I'm hungry.

Team Badger's food location of choice is a restaurant called "Cancun". All the guys know us there and we have a good relationship with them. I was thinking yesterday, which Steven and I were there, I wish that they sold their chips and salsa in to-go containers so that I wouldn't be sitting at home on a day like today craving it so much. They also do this queso dip that is like none I've ever had before or since. You just can't buy this stuff in the store. I want the recipe!

So I'm sitting here at 9:30am craving Mexican food!!!

Like I might have mentioned before, we're going to go see it again tomorrow. We'll dress up again cause ... well, we have costumes so why the eff not?! :D There are so many moments in the movie I'm looking forward to re-enjoying. Seriously, extraordinary movie, especially if you happen to be a fan of the franchise.

I had so many moments of feeling proud for Gene Roddenberry while I was watching it. Were he alive today I'm sure he would be flipping out at all the things that they pulled off with this movie.

Last night the guys and I put our finishing touches on our Star Trek outfits and headed out to the opening of the new JJ Abrams feature movie presentation of Star Trek. Once at the theater several movie patrons jokingly said, "What movie are you going to see?" Interestingly enough I don't have a clue about anything else that is playing right now because Star Trek has been my main focus for months! A few others had to take pictures of us and in one guy's case with us. I really can see the appeal of wanting pictures of what we were doing there, especially since Steven was dressed as Captain James T Kirk and Darf was dressed as Spock. I was simply fodder dressed as an expendable red shirt.

So about the movie... I mean I can't go on and on about dressing up for a movie only to not even mention how the actual movie was.

IT WAS PHENOMENAL!! I had chills from the beginning of the movie til the end. All of the cast members were so well suited to their roles. Karl Urban was an exceptional Bones. I thought it was a shame that Simon Pegg who played Scotty didn't show up til close to the end but his character was fun none-the-less. I had myself a chuckle when the first thing he was saying was "FOOOD" - since old Scotty became quite large :)

Chris Pine, who I've never heard of til now, fulfilled the role of James Tiberius Kirk exceptionally. I wouldn't say he "Out Shat the Shat" but the most rewarding part about that was, he wasn't trying to. It was a new take on the original so full of all the awesome stuff you want to see with very little downtime. It was thrilling and emotional and leads the way for more movies. Gotta love that. I hope to get to dress up a million more times for Star Trek in the future!!

My little sister is getting married tomorrow at 10am at the courthouse to the boy she's been dating since she was 14/15 yrs old. She's gonna be Amber Wheeler tomorrow. hehehe
